Local favourite Lin Wen-tang shot a two under par 70 to secure a one stroke victory at the Ballantine's Taiwan Championship.
The 36 year old carded five birdies against one bogey and a double bogey at the North Bay Golf and Country Club to finish ahead of compatriot Hsu Chia-jen (70), who pushed Lin hard but made a costly triple bogey at the 13th.
South Korean T J Kim finished third after carding a 67 alongside Chinese Taipei duo Hsu Mong-nan (73) and Chen Chung-cheng (69).
"I knew the back nine would be important and when Hsu dropped shots on 13, I knew I had a good chance of winning," said Lin, a former UBS Hong Kong Open winner.
"There is a bright future for Hsu and he will do well in the future. He will only get better with more experience."
