Korean cuisine brings people together and is a major part of the country’s culture and identity and gimbap, made from cooked rice, vegetables, meat and fish rolled in dried sheets of seaweed, is one of Korea’s favourite dishes.
Ahead of the Genesis Championship, Tom Kim, Pablo Larrazábal and local hero Yubin Jang were taken through a gimbap masterclass by a local chef, before having five minutes to prepare their own dish.
With the chef having the deciding vote, who would come out on top in the kitchen?
