It was a case of if once is good, twice is better for Dan Bradbury as he toasted more success at Houghton Golf Club by becoming a two-time winner at the Joburg Open.
The Englishman won his maiden DP World Tour title at the venue in 2022, and he carded a closing five-under-par 65 in South Africa to become the first English winner on the 2026 Race to Dubai schedule.
Bradbury, who is now a three-time winner on Tour having also won the FedEx Open de France in 2024, is a Ping ambassador and has a full set of Ping equipment in his bag.
REPORT: Dan Bradbury rises to the top and claims second Joburg Open crown
Ahead of finishing in a tie for second in his season-opening appearance at the Nedbank Golf Challenge in honour of Gary Player in December, the 26-year-old switched to the Ping S259 wedges.
With those clubs, he ranked in the top ten for Scrambling last week in Johannesburg as he made par or better on 11 of the 16 occasions when he missed a green in regulation.
Bradbury added a Ping mini driver to his bag at the start of 2026 for the Dubai Invitational, Hero Dubai Desert Classic and Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship, before reverting to his G440 Max 3 wood since the Qatar Masters.
In a more recent alteration, he changed the grind on his lob wedge from H8 to E8 at the Investec South African Open last month.
He is not a big changer in his clubs, highlighted by the fact he has used the Blueprint Forged S irons since the 2023 Omega European Masters.
He moved to a broomhandle Ping PLD Oslo XL prototype putter in the weeks leading up to his win in France at Le Golf National two years ago.
Bradbury plays with a 2025 edition Titleist Pro V1 ball.
