What's in the bag? Freddy Schott's winning set-up at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship

Freddy Schott mixed the old with the new as he claimed a maiden DP World Tour win in a play-off at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship.

A Ping staff player, the German put the 13-degree Prototype Mini Driver in the bag just last week at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic, where it sits alongside a nine-degree G440 Max Driver which he has been using for just over 12 months.

The only other change for the 2026 season was a move from the Ping S159 to S259 for his 50, 56 and 60-degree wedges, which was made at the Australian PGA Championship.

Schott's irons have been in the bag since August 2023 and he carries a Ping iDi utility iron and Blueprint Forged S clubs from four iron to pitching wedge.

He first used his Ping PLD Ketsch Proto putter at the 2024 KLM Open and he plays with a 2023 Titleist Pro V1 ball.
