Shane Lowry's change to a new driver and wedges quickly bore fruit as he romped to a stunning 11-shot victory on home soil at the Amgen Irish Open.
The Irishman made the changes after The Open Championship and after finishing in a tie for 52nd on the PGA Tour in his next start, he cruised to a commanding victory at Trump International Golf Links & Hotel, Ireland, Doonbeg.
At the top of the bag he brought in the Srixon ZXi RKT LS, a move which helped him gain +0.49 strokes on the field driving across the week in County Clare.
He also had Cleveland, RTZ 2 Tour Rack 50, 56 and 60-degree wedges in play, sitting 15th in strokes gained approach and 38th around the green.
Also in his bag was TaylorMade Qi4D four and seven woods, Srixon ZXi5 four and five irons, Srixon Zxi7 six iron to pitching wedge and a TaylorMade Spider Tour Z putter.
