Prize Money

Each Rolex Series event carries with it at $9 million in prize money, except for the season-ending DP World Tour Championship where it increases to $10 million.

Race to Dubai ranking points

Due to their raised stature, the Rolex Series events carry 8,000 Race to Dubai ranking points, except for the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship and the DP World Tour Championship where it increases to 9,000 and 12,000 respectively.

History

The Rolex Series began during the 2017 DP World Tour season, consisting of eight events.

  • BMW PGA Championship
  • Open de France
  • Irish Open
  • Scottish Open
  • Italian Open
  • Turkish Airlines Open
  • Nedbank Golf Challenge
  • DP World Tour Championship

From the 2019 season onwards, the Abu Dhabi Championship became a designated Rolex Series event and the Open de France returned to being a regular tour event.

In 2021, the Rolex Series was reduced to four tournaments; the Abu Dhabi Championship, the Scottish Open, the BMW PGA Championship and the season-ending DP World Tour Championship. The Dubai Desert Classic was added ahead of the 2022 season.
