The G4D Open is this week shining a spotlight on the inspiring stories of golfers with disabilities.
The inclusive championship, held in partnership between The R&A and the DP World Tour, is into its third edition.
A field of 80 men and women, both amateur and professional, who have a range of impairments, are competing across 54 holes and over three days from Thursday to Saturday at Woburn’s Duchess Course.
Earlier this week, the BBC Breakfast team were on site in Buckinghamshire to speak to some of the competitors, who range in age from 18 to 79.
Among those is Kris Aves, who suffered severe spinal injuries in the terrorist attack on Westminster Bridge in March 2017 that left him paralysed from the waist down.
George Blackshaw, a single arm amputee, Adam Dalton, who was born with congenital limb deficiency, and above-the-knee-amputee Brad Smith also discuss how golf has given them a new purpose.
