The Grand Final 2026 takes place this week from October 29 – November 1 at Club de Golf Alcanada in Mallorca, marking the fifth consecutive year the Alcúdia venue has hosted the season-ending finale.

After 27 events spanning 20 countries and three different continents, the final event of the 2026 Road to Mallorca is here. With 15 DP World Tour cards at stake and one Road to Mallorca Rankings winner to be crowned, there is all to play for this week.

Every single person in the 45-man field can earn promotion. American Alex Goff (pictured), last man in the field, and Englishman Matthew Southgate, who currently occupies 15th position and the final promotion place, are separated by 243 points. And with an increased 4000 points on offer and the winner receiving 640 points, everything is to play for.

A sixth visit

Club de Golf Alcanada will be the setting for the HotelPlanner Tour's finale for a sixth time this week, having first hosted the Road to Mallorca in 2019. Italian Francesco Laporta triumphed that year whilst also ending the campaign as Number One. Three years later, the Alcúdia venue hosted its second Grand Final, as Englishman Nathan Kimsey won both the Rankings and the season-ending event, a feat achieved by his countryman Marco Penge the following year.

In 2024 Kristoffer Reitain claimed his maiden professional victory in Mallorca, launching himself onto the DP World Tour where he would seal his maiden victory at the Soudal Open before earning himself PGA TOUR status for the 2026 season.12 months ago it was James Morrison who sealed a fairytale return to the DP World Tour in Mallorca with a three-stroke victory, while South African JC Ritchie captured the season-long title following a dominant campaign which included three victories.

Alcanada, designed by legendary architect Robert Trent Jones Jr., boasts stunning views of the sea, mountains and lighthouse located on the nearby Alcanada Island. The coastal test can certainly show its teeth at times, particularly when the breeze picks up; much like it did in 2023 where Englishman Penge was one of just five players under par.

Hamish Brown became the fifth different player to lead the Road to Mallorca Rankings when he won the Hangzhou Open last time out. With promotion to the DP World Tour now a formality, the Dane is looking to end his incredibly consistent campaign as Number One. Brown sits 85 points ahead of Swede Christofer Blomstrand, who has two wins to his name this year, and 116 points ahead of another two-time winner, Lars van der Vight. The Dutchman and Blomstrand are two of 17 players who can mathematically finish the year as Number One, with MJ Viljoen in 18th unable to match Brown's total.

History maker

Tapio Pulkkanen has a shot at history when he tees off at Club de Golf Alcanada this week. A top three finish for the Finn would give him a chance of becoming the first player to win the season-long Rankings twice after his triumph in 2017. Pulkkanen, who returned to the Road to Mallorca this year, has been a mark of consistency throughout 2026, registering one victory, a runner-up, one third place and two further top ten finishes.

Currently sitting in fifth position, the Finn will need to be at his imperious best and hope for favours from those above to etch his name into the HotelPlanner Tour history books.

It's live

For the fifth year in a row, the Grand Final will be broadcast live around the world, giving fans the opportunity to watch the drama unfold. With unparalleled drama from Thursday to Sunday, make sure you check your local listings for when and where to watch.
