The HotelPlanner Tour first visited Mallorca in 2019 and the Island has hosted the season-ending finale seven times since across two venues, T Golf Calvia and this year’s venue and five-time host, Club de Golf Alcanada. From 2027 to 2030, the intention is to visit new top-class courses across Mallorca.

Over the past seven years, the Grand Final in Mallorca has been a springboard for the next generation of golfing stars, with previous winners Marco Penge and Kristoffer Reitan going on to shine on the DP World Tour and beyond.

The Grand Final is also where promotion aspirations become reality, with the likes of Angel Ayora, Martin Couvra, Casey Jarvis and Daniel Hillier earning their DP World Tour cards at the season-ending event.

Jamie Hodges, HotelPlanner Tour Director, said: “We are delighted to extend our stay in Mallorca and look forward to continuing to work closely with the Balearic Golf Federation.

“Club de Golf Alcanada, and T Golf Calvia previously, have been exceptional venues for our season-ending finale since 2019, with our members enjoying a first-class experience both on and off the course.

“Over the next four years, I am excited for the Grand Final to visit new venues in Mallorca as we continue to grow the event across the Island and beyond.”

Bartolomé Tous Aguiló, President of the Balearic Golf Federation, said: “We are delighted that Mallorca will host the Grand Final in 2027.

“We have worked throughout the season to reach a framework agreement that secures the future of this project, and seeing those efforts come to fruition is a source of great satisfaction for the Balearic Golf Federation.

“The support of the Balearic Government and the Mallorca Council, together with our collaboration with the HotelPlanner Tour, has been instrumental.

“The Road to Mallorca takes our island’s name around the world and gives us the opportunity to enjoy, on home soil, a tournament that plays a pivotal role in the careers of players aspiring to progress to the DP World Tour.”
