World Number Two Lee Westwood has selected the Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa – host venue to this week’s English Challenge – as the southern base for the Lee Westwood Golf School.
There will be two open days for anyone interested in enrolling in the Lee Westwood Golf School on Friday, July 22 from 10am – 5pm and Saturday July, 23 from 9am – 4pm at Stoke by Nayland Hotel, Golf & Spa.
Prospective students and their families are invited to pop along for an informal chat to find out more about the two-year full-time programme now on offer.
The School will open in September and will run a two-year programme designed to nurture talented golfers aged 16 and above and will follow a unique structured programme that will develop and enhance golf and education, including lifestyle, psychology, fitness and more.
The outstanding facilities and two 18-hole championship lay-outs – the Gainsborough and Constable Courses – at Stoke by Nayland made the Essex venue a natural choice to base the second branch of Westwood’s Golf School.
It is the first school of its kind to be accredited by Westwood and will result in students gaining a BTEC Extended National Diploma in Sport.
