Concra Wood Golf Club will make its debut on the European Challenge Tour when the Monaghan Irish Challenge gets under way on Thursday. Here are ten statistics ahead of the final Challenge Tour event of the season on European soil.
19 –players from the island of Ireland will tee it up this week, including GolfSixes 2018 champion Gavin Moynihan and the 2017 Christy O’Connor Jnr Memorial Trophy winner Ruaidhri McGee.

Four –tournaments to go until the end of the Challenge Tour season. The Monaghan Irish Challenge is followed by back-to-back events in China before the Ras Al Khaimah Challenge Tour Grand Final at the end of October.

2016 –Irish Challenge champion Bernd Ritthammer will look to claim his second title on Irish soil. The German triumphed at Mount Wolseley Hotel Spa and Golf Resort two years ago with rounds of 72-70-66-70 to win by five strokes ahead of Marcus Armitage and Sam Walker.
