Course Information

General
Course opened in 1976, designed by Charles Lawrie (Walker Cup Captain). Undulating, tree lined course, with few water hazards.
The Dukes Course at Woburn is a renowned tournament venue. The fairways are lined with Scots Pines and Silver Birch trees, making scoring difficult. The key to scoring is the front nine, with two reachable par 5’s and generous fairways. The back nine however is a different story. Five par 4 holes over 400yds, narrow fairways and sloping greens, not to mention the 596 yard difference in overall yardage. Players will do well to shoot 37 (level par) over the closing nine.
