John Carter, Chief Executive of Travis Perkins plc, was awarded honorary life membership of the European Senior Tour at Thursday's nights awards dinner, held at Woburn Abbey.
Travis Perkins have been the title sponsors of this event, held on the Duke's Course, since 2008, but have been a long-standing supporter of the Senior Tour.
Colin Montgomerie was recognised as winner of both the John Jacobs Trophy and Rolex Player of the Year Award for the second consecutive season.
Senior Open Championship presented by Rolex winner Paul Broadhurst was recognised as Rookie of the Year for 2015.
For the third successive year, Carl Mason received the Laurence Batley Award from Batley's daughter Rita Firth as the leading player on the 2015 Order of Merit over the age of 60, finishing 15th on the overall rankings.
But the highlight of the evening came as Carter was presented his honorary life membership by European Tour Chairman David Williams and former Senior Tour Managing Director Andy Stubbs.
"I am shocked and humbled by this award," said Carter. "It's been an incredible journey and a wonderful partnership with the European Senior Tour."
