Find out more about parking and travel arrangements for The Senior Open presented by Rolex 2023.

The Senior Open Presented by Rolex will take place from 27 – 30 July at Royal Porthcawl Golf Club, Bridgend.

Transport:

TRAVELLING BY CAR

Public attending the event, please take junction 38 of the M4 (Margam) and follow the yellow AA signage directing you to our public car park which is located next to Royal Porthcawl giving you just a short walk into the event.

TRAVEL BY TRAIN

The closest station is Bridgend which is approximately 8 miles from the course. Taxis take about 20 minutes to travel from Bridgend to Porthcawl and are available outside the front of the station. A local bus service is also available.

ARRIVING BY TAXI

The taxi drop-off and collection point is located within the Public Car Park. Spectators should ask their driver to follow the yellow AA event signage.

ALL CAR PARKING IS FREE OF CHARGE

There will be no access via the main Clubhouse entrance for spectators’ vehicles, except those with valid car park label.

DISABLED SPECTATORS

There will be dedicated disabled spaces on site for spectators whose vehicles display a blue badge. The disabled car park is situated in Car Park 2. Spectators wanting to rent an electric scooter will be able to do so at the Event Mobility tent located in Car Park 2.

Event Mobility is a charity and kindly asks for a donation of £30 for using electric scooters and £10 for the manual wheelchairs.

Spectators can also pick them up on the day and these are available on a first come first served basis.
