The DP World Tour starts its three-week stay in Africa with a return to Karen Country Club before heading to South Africa for a fortnight to crown the International Swing champion.

Patrick Reed currently has a healthy lead in the Rankings but he is not in the field this week so the chasing pack will be looking to take their chance to make some headway.

Chief among them is Calum Hill, with the Scot third in the International Swing after back-to-back runner-up finishes in Bahrain and Qatar.

Jacques Kruyswijk returns to defend his title and is joined by fellow past champions Darius van Driel, Jorge Campillo, Justin Harding and Guido Migliozzi, with the latter two both having lifted the trophy at Karen.

Recent winner Freddy Schott also tees it up in a field full of established stars, local players and HotelPlanner Tour and Qualifying School graduates looking to make their mark.

From insight into the week’s most-picked players among Fantasy managers, to our ones to watch, we run the rule ahead of Thursday’s deadline to pick your team.

Who are the most picked players?

Fresh off the back of those consecutive runner-up finishes, Hill is the most popular pick among our players, featuring in 58% of teams.

A prolific winner comes next at 49% in the shape of Thriston Lawrence before the seemingly perennially in-form Angel Ayora sits at 46%.

Dane Jacob Skov Olesen and Swede Joakim Lagergren round out the top five at 33% and 18% respectively.

Who are our ones to watch?

Favourite - Angel Ayora

It says a lot about the Spaniard's career trajectory that in a field of 47 DP World Tour winners, it is Ayora - a man without a win thus far - who is enjoying the most traction in the betting markets. But perhaps that is because, more than any other player on Tour, it feels like that win is inevitable at some point this season. In his rookie campaign last year he racked up ten top tens, with seven of them coming in the Back 9 and Play-Offs as he showed his comfort on the big stage. After narrowly missing out on dual membership, he has started 2026 strongly and was fifth last time out. It's a case of if, not when. Will it be this week?

Form Horse - Calum Hill

Not much competition here as the Scot arrives in Kenya after two close shaves. A shank in the play-off saw him lose out in Bahrain but his reaction won him plenty of fans and plaudits as he turned up the following week in Qatar and ran Reed close. A winner on African soil last season at the Joburg Open, he already has two top-40s on the continent in the 2026 campaign and finished in the top ten the last time this event was held at Karen in 2021. Surely nobody arrives this week with more confidence than the two-time DP World Tour winner?

Wild Card - Niklas Lemke

Could this be the season the Swede truly establishes himself on Tour? The four-time Qualifying School graduate took the final spot at 115th on the Race to Dubai last season to keep his card for the first time in his career and he has carried that momentum into 2026 with four made cuts from five starts. Twice in his career he has finished third on the DP World Tour but it is his record at this week's venue that makes him stand out. He finished in the top 12 at this event in 2019 and then 33rd and 14th when it held back-to-back events in 2021. A stand-out amateur who is good under pressure, surely a big breakthrough will come soon enough.

Looking back - Qatar Masters

The end of our spell in the Middle East brought an extremely popular winner for players of our game with Patrick Reed featuring in 13,288 teams, that's just over 50% of teams racking up 206 points.

It was also a good result for this column as Reed was our Favourite, with Form Horse Daniel Hillier finishing in a tie for 20th and Wild Card Chris Wood missing the cut.
