Jan turns 50 in the middle of May and joins the European Seniors Tour after a successful career competing at home in his native Sweden. Jan turned professional in 1971 and went on to win a number of prestigious events in his homeland. He headed the Swedish Order of Merit in both 1979 and 1982 and also represented his country in four World Cups between 1977 and 1982. Jan currently lives in Buenos Aires. He cites golf course architecture and the history of golf as his hobbies.
