Nicknamed “Big Red” courtesy of his crop of Ginger hair in his younger days, Mike won the European Seniors Tour Qualifying School in 1997 to claim his place on the Tour. Came close to winning the Jersey Seniors Open after leading going into the final round only to be overtaken by Bob Shearer. Also gained respect for his several ventures in course design.
