Entry forms available for The Senior Open

Entry forms are now available for The 2020 Senior Open Presented by Rolex, as Europe’s only Senior Major Championship returns to Sunningdale Golf Club from July 23-26.

A minimum of 24 spots will be contested in the Monday Qualifiers on July 20, taking place at Burhill Golf Club, The Berkshire Golf Club, Camberley Heath Golf Club and Foxhills Country Club & Resort, as potential qualifiers vie for a place amongst the illustrious field.

The 34th edition of The Senior Open Presented by Rolex will be held at Sunningdale’s Old Course for the third time in 12 years.

The Berkshire venue first hosted the championship in 2009 when America’s Loren Roberts beat compatriot Fred Funk and Ireland’s Mark McNulty in a play-off. In 2015 another American, Marco Dawson, reigned triumphant, finishing one stroke ahead of Bernhard Langer.

Langer, who won his fourth Senior Open Presented by Rolex title last year, will hope to go one better than five years ago as he looks to defend his title, but will face a stern test from a star-studded field.

The German will be joined by an array of former Ryder Cup players, plus several captains of the biennial event, as a world class field tees it up at the Old Course.
