We look forward to welcoming you to The Renaissance Club for the 2023 Genesis Scottish Open. 

We have an incredible range of activities for spectators to keep you entertained throughout your day. 

Please see a list of activities we have on offer in The Championship Village. 

The Championship Village is located near to the driving range and where it’s all happening off the golf course and where you will find plenty of seating to relax. There will be a couple of big screens showing the action and scores so, there is no need to miss any of the golf. 

The Spectator Village is a hive of activity with lots of sporting activities within the Genesis Interactive Zone to keep the whole family entertained, these include: 

Official Merchandise Shop: A wide range of Official 2022 Genesis Scottish Open Event and DP World Tour merchandise is on sale at the Official Merchandise Shop in the Championship Village. Official European Tour Group Merchandise website: https://shop.europeantourgroup.com/ 

● Genesis Mobile Lounge will introduce its visitors to the Genesis brand as well as its new partnership with the Scottish Open. Various digital and tech experiences will be featured such as a photo booth, a remote-control golf ball challenge, an interactive display and much more! 

● Long Putt:  Take on the challenge and support the Renaissance foundation on the 30m long putt where you can try and hole out on the replica of the Renaissance Golf Club 18th hole. 

● A bespoke putting course will challenge visitors to play 6 holes which are Renaissance Golf Course and Genesis themed and free golf lessons for under 17’s run by the Stephen Gallagher Foundation. 

● Multisport zone:  All the sports are now fully digitised with automated scoring and points system, Rugby Smart Wall, Golf Skee Ball and Baseball Pitching Knock ‘em’ Down Shy with auto re-setting targets. 

Look out for our VR Golf Totem which will be based around the 14th area. 

● Genesis Simulator Stage: Take on the nearest to pin challenge on our 6th hole LEG Golf Simulator. 

● Kids Zone: Inflatables, face painting and a magician. 

● Visit Scotland: ‘Ahead of this years’ 2023 UCI World Cycling Championships, come and experience the Zwift virtual Scotland world! Ride the Wahoo Kickr Snap to win some great prizes!’ 

● Nearest the Pin:  A game on the 6th hole where spectators get to guess how close the feature groups will hit the ball to the flag.  

● Silent Disco: The Funkwagen will be blasting out it’s tunes at the Silent disco @ 4pm each day over by the 6th bar area.
