Clarke wins WGC - NEC Invitational

Darren Clarke struck a huge blow for The European Tour with a superb victory in the World Golf Championships - NEC Invitational at Firestone Country Club in Ohio. The Irishman, one shot clear going into the final round, powered further ahead with an excellent closing 67 for a 12 under par total of 268 to finish four shots ahead of Jonathan Kaye.
