Grasses
The Greens consist of A4 Bent with Rye elsewhere on the course.
Fairways
These will be cut to 10mm. Landing areas are in the 25 - 30 metre width range. Players can't afford to miss the main playing areas as the undergrowth in the trees is dense.
Rough
The Semi-Rough is cut to 35mm and Rough to 90mm.
Greens
Stimpmeter reading at beginning of tournament week was 9'. The Greens are reasonably large and well contoured. The greens will be cut to 3mm with the collars at 7mm.
General
Much rain in the weeks leading up to the event combined with warm temperatures has led to healthy growth and very green conditions. It is a long course with driver required on many of the par 4s & 5s, and water coming into play on 6 holes. Most tees are elevated leading to both spectacular views and tough walks from the greens to the tees!.
