Special Features - The river is a key factor on the 15th and 18th which requires a long second over the river if going for the green.
General Playability - At over 7400 yards this will be a stern test especially with any wind.
Undulating/ flat - Mixed
Tree lined/exposed - Tree lined.
Many / few water hazards - Water is in play on 4, 6,7,11, 15, 16 and 18
Changes to the course - 8 new tees on holes 2,3,8,9,10,11,14 and 17 adding over 300 yards to the course. 2 new bunkers

Any specific comments - Many greens have significant undulation which will place great importance on  hitting the right part of the green otherwise a 3 putt will be very much a possibility. - The greens are firm so will reward accuracy of the tee.

One of Robert Trent Jones last designs (Trent Jones stated that the 18th was the best finishing hole he has ever designed. Recently voted the best inland course in Ireland. Adare Manor is situated on 840 acres estate. Constructed 1830s, as rich in beauty as it is in history. The Manor is an architectural masterpiece of towers turrets and stonework ornamentation surrounded by breathtaking gardens, majestic trees and fascinating ruins dating back over 800 hundred years.
