Course Designer – Neil Haworth of Nelson and Haworth design.
Special Features - The 16th hole and 17th holes are played over a water filled, rare quarry, which will be very much in play on the 16th for those players opting to go for the green on this short par 4.
General Playability – Will be open to some low scoring if the rain keeps the greens receptive. Otherwise some very strong par 3’s.
Undulating/Flat – Some notable changes in elevation on a few holes otherwise only minor undulation.
Treelined/exposed – Tree lined
Many / few water hazards - Many hazards , water in play on holes 2,4,5,6,8,9,13,14,16,17 and 18.
Changes to the Course – This is a new course as yet unplayed at this level.

Type of grass - A1 creeping bent
Height of cut - 3.75mm
Speed/stimp reading - approx 10’6” on the stimp
Any specific comments – Some of the greens have a lot of slope and false fronts which will make them very challenging with pace.

Any specific comments – Not that penal, the ball tends to sit up in this type of grass.
Weather
In advance – - Extremely hot temperature and high humidity has made it very challenging to bring the course into tournament condition. Temperatures are still high for November but now no more than 20 degrees Celsius with some heavy rain in the last few days.
Forecast for tournament – Mild to cool temperatures, mainly overcast with light rain and light breezes
Other Features
The course is surrounded by a housing complex with all buildings including the clubhouse built with Tuscan style architecture and materials. The course itself features many new and old trees including thousand year old Gingka trees.
