Special Features - Every year the rough is overseeded with rye grass as otherwise there will be little growth with the existing Bermuda grass.
General Playability -
Undulating/ flat - Flat
Tree lined/exposed - Quite exposed
Many / few water hazards - Water hazards on holes 4, 6, 7, 9, 12, 14, 16, 17 & 18
Changes to the course - Tree removal and bunker added at left side on dogleg at hole 16.

Greens
Type of grass - Bermuda Tifdwarf
Height of cut - 2.6 mm
Speed/stimp reading – 11.6 Monday morning
Any specific comments –

Fairways
Type of grass – Paspalum
Height of cut – 12 mm
General width and contouring – Average width
Any specific comments - Not much bounce on the fairways due to rain prior to event. Course will play long.

Tees
Type of grass –  Paspalum overseeded with rye grass
Height of cut - 9 mm
Any specific comments - The back tee on hole 16 will be used this year as the landing area has been redesigned ( most of the trees to the left have been removed and a fairway bunker has been built).

Collars

Rough
Type of grass – Rye grass
Semi-rough - Height of cut – 32 mm
Intermediate Height of cut – 64 mm
Rough - Height of cut – 100 mm
Any specific comments – The rough is very consistent and it has been topped at 100mm inside the ropes. There is a band of intermediate rough cut at 64mm.

Weather
In advance – Very wet and unusually cold
Forecast for tournament – Dry and breezy especially on Thursday

Other Features
With strong NW wind we might have to move the 16th & 17th tees forward.
