European Tour Member Pelle Edberg continued to tap into a rich vein of form at Carnoustie to light up a grey third day at The Open Championship.
The 28 year old Swede, who finished in a tie for third in the Smurfit Kappa European Open two weeks ago and in a share of fourth at The Barclays Scottish Open last week, carded an excellent third round 67.
Following opening rounds of 72 and 73, the debutant in the Open Championship moved to a one under par total of 212, to guarantee himself a late start in Sunday’s final round.
