(b) The top 60 from the 2000 Asian PGA Order of Merit list
(c) 3 amateurs
(d) 2 Hong Kong PGA
(e) 1 China PGA Order of Merit
(f) 2 Hong Kong Invites
(g) 6 Sponsor's Invites
(h) Past winners for the last 10 years of the event and players in the top 10 of the event in 2000, if not otherwise exempt
