Defending champion Sergio Garcia birdied the first two holes of his final round and grabbed the lead at the CASTELLÓ MASTERS Costa Azahar in Spain.
Playing on his home course and seeking his first win of the year, Garcia was 17 under - with overnight leader Michael Jonzon and German Martin Kaymer one behind and England's Sam Hutsby two back in only his third European Tour event since turning professional last month.
Hutsby jumped into a share of top spot by eagling the 377 yard first, but bogeyed the next.
While Garcia was looking to successfully defend a title for the first time in his career, Jonzon needed a top two finish to guarantee his card for next season.
