Tommy Fleetwood converted one eagle and two birdies against two bogeys on his way to a final round 70, emerging as the winner from a three way playoff against Gonzalez and Gallacher. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 22 year old English talent performed steadily in most categories but it was his performance on the Gleneagles Par 5 holes which really stands out. He ranked 4th for Driving Distance and hit an amazing 10/16 Par 5 greens in sub-regulation two shots, all leading to four eagles, nine birdies, two pars and one bogey on those holes. With this first European Tour win, Tommy climbs to 34th position on the Race to Dubai.

Stephen GALLACHER -18
Stephen Gallacher produced an exilerating final round 67 (made up of two eagles, five birdies, nine pars, a bogey and even a triple bogey) to make it into the playoff. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 38 year old Scottish golfer produced much the same set of statistics as the winner Fleetwood, being steady in most categories whilst destroying the Par 5 holes. Stephen ranked 6th for Driving Distance and 2nd for Par 5’s in 2, all leading to four eagles, nine birdies and three pars on those holes, for a rediculous 3.94 Par 5 Scoring average. The two time European Tour winner is well on the way to his most lucrative season as a professional golfer.

Ricardo GONZALEZ -18
Ricardo Gonzalez converted six birdies against two bogeys and a double bogey on his way to a final round 70, falling just shy of a wire to wire victory in the three way playoff. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 43 year old Argentine golfer ranked 1st / 2nd / 3rd for the official putting categories and he accumulated more birdies than any other player (25 in total). Ricardo also made light work of the Gleneagles Par 5 holes (an obvious trend from the leading trio) but he also produced a fantastic Par 3 Scoring average of 2.81. This result pushes the four time European Tour winner out of the danger zone up to 67th position on the Race to Dubai.

Bernd WIESBERGER -17
Bernd Wiesberger converted two eagles and three birdies against three bogeys on his way to a final round 68, finishing one shot off the pace at the finish. Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 27 year old Austrian talent averaged a huge 317 yards off the tee, plus he ranked 1st alongside Richard Ramsay for Greens in Regulation (hitting 63/72 greens). Incredibly the two time European Tour winner suffered more 3 putts than any other player in the field (7 in total), which is testament to the quality of his long game.

Looking at his Genworth Statistics for the week, the 26 year old Scottish golfer also drove the ball long (the same as the other leading players), plus he putted sublimely. And with comparatively few dropped shots he also ranked 2nd for Par 4 Scoring with a 3.78 average. This much needed big result pushes Scott up to 113th position on the Race to Dubai, now with a excellent chance of securing his full playing rights for next season.
