Marshals Golf Day

The annual Marshals’ Golf Day took place over the West Course at Wentworth on Monday 12th June.

On a gloriously sunny day, when short-sleeved shirts replaced the waterproofs that had been so in evidence during the Volvo PGA Championship, the team of 3 representing the Joint Services Staff College won the team prize for the 4th successive year with an impressive combined total of 106 stableford points, lifting the shield and an Asprey & Garrard crystal decanter.

1st Joint Serivces Staff College – 106 pts

2nd Windlesham A – 94 pts

3rd Hindhead A – 88 pts.

The Championship Committee express their thanks to the Chief Marshal, Graham Wallage, and all the volunteer marshals for their ceaseless efforts in helping the Volvo PGA Championship run so smoothly around the course, especially in the light of the conditions at this year’s event.
