Retief Goosen has been withdrawn from The Senior Open Presented by Rolex after he was identified as a close contact of his son and caddie, Leo, who has tested positive for Covid-19.
Both Retief and Leo will now enter a period of self-isolation in accordance with UK Government guidance. They will be supported throughout by the Legends Tour’s medical and event staff.
Goosen will be replaced in the field by Simon Wilkinson, of Wales.
