Stuart Cage, a 1994 Challenge Tour graduate, claimed his maiden European Tour victory in the best possible way with four rounds in the 60s including a closing 66 to win by five from David Carter, who had a last round of 62, and Paul Broadhurst. "When you first come out on tour you think some of the guys are unbeatable, but now I know they're not," said Cage. "This is a big breakthrough for me. You play and practice all the time for this, just to try and win on the European Tour."
