Per-Ulrik Johansson was one behind Paul Broadhurst and Costantino Rocca entering the last round. Broadhurst, helped by a first hole birdie, turned in 36 to lead at ten under by one from Andrew Coltart and Rocca. Then, as Broadhurst faltered, so Rocca edged ahead with a birdie at the 13th with Johansson, out in 36, still one behind after a bogey at the 11th and a birdie at the 13th. Johansson made a 15 foot birdie putt at the 17th to draw level with Rocca then birdied the last whereas Rocca made a par.
