Bernhard Langer gained his ninth triumph in his native Germany by leading from start to finish over the Gut Kaden course in Hamburg. Langer eased into the final round with a five stroke lead, birdied the third, fourth and ninth to turn in 33 and compiled nine successive pars coming home to win by six from Jaime Spence. Mats Lanner initially set the target on 11 under 277 after an eagle and six birdies in a closing 66 and he finished third.
