Fred Couples completed back-to-back wins on the PGA European Tour with his final round 71. Starting out at ten under, he birdied the second, but bogeyed the short fifth and was challenged by Michael Campbell, who began birdie-eagle. Couples, out in 36, had six straight pars from the turn, with Campbell falling behind after a triple bogey at the eighth. Robert Allenby caught the leader, but also fell back with dropped shots at the 15th and 16th, and Couples moved clear with a three iron to ten feet for a two at the 206-yards 16th. Nick Price finished strongly to claim second place.
