Peter O'Malley won for the second time on the Volvo Tour, but felt "this time was better than my first win. I stayed in there for most of the week, and after having led and then fallen behind, I fought back and hung on to win." Andrew Oldcorn, seven under for his first eleven holes, completed a 65 to set the clubhouse target on 282, and was joined by Colin Montgomerie and Carl Mason. O'Malley dropped two shots in his first four holes, but recovered with birdies at the 12th and 13th. Costantino Rocca challenged with birdies at the 14th and 15th, but he dropped shots at each of the last two holes. James took five at the last as did O'Malley, but he still had one shot to spare.
