Golf in Portugal is a tourism product of high prestige and international recognition, either for the many awards or for the quality and diversity of its courses. Portugal Masters, as the main golf tournament organized in Portugal and one of the most important in Europe, has contributed to reinforce and promote this distinction.
The strategic bet that we have been pursuing over the past years to position our country as a premium golf destination is fully recognized by both the tourist who uses the golf courses and the golf professionals that visit us.
There is no doubt that Portugal has been acknowledged by the capacity and professionalism in the organization of golf events, achieving ever greater notoriety and recognition among top professionals and amateur practitioners. This acknowledgment is a direct result of the combined effort of organizers, sponsors, players, the public and companies, important figures in the world golf ranking.
