This year’s Photographers Golf Day sponsored by Volvo and Canon took place on Monday 22nd May at Harleyford Golf Club, Marlow, Bucks.
With beautiful weather and the Harleyford course in excellent condition our photographic colleagues produced some fine golf and some very impressive scores to match.
The individual winner on the day was Tom Jenkins playing off a handicap of 18 with a superb Stableford score of 42 points, closely followed by Paul Carter with 41 points and Charles Briscoe-Knight with 37 points.
John Mead (Daily Mirror) secured the Nearest the Pin prize and big hitting Stephen Munday (Allsport) won the longest drive.
The team prize went to Dave Cannon (Allsport), David Ashdown (The Independent) and Paul Carter (Sunday Express) with a tremendous team score of 87 points.
Thanks to Canon (UK) Ltd, Volvo and Harleyford Golf Club this was again a very enjoyable day and a great opportunity for the golf photographers to show off their golfing skills.
