Secured his place on the European Senior Tour after making it through the Qualifying School Finals in Portugal for the second year in a row. The Argentine would have won the tournament had he not incurred a two shot penalty for breaching local rules by practice putting during his final round and instead settled for fourth place, a shot behind the winner Jimmy Heggarty. His best finish of 2008 was tied 24th at the Irish Seniors Open.
