Those results saw him earn a place in the European side at the 2016 EurAsia Cup and he then automatically qualified to represent his continent at the 2016 Ryder Cup at Hazeltine.

Returned to the winner's circle after a five-year absence with his fourth DP World Tour victory at the 2020 English Championship.
