Qualified for the Champions Tour at the 1999 Qualifying School but had a disappointing 2000 in the States finishing 77th on the Money List. Returned to the European Senior Tour in 2001 and during the year produced one of the most spectacular shots of his career when he holed a 230 yard three wood for an albatross two on the 482 yard par five fourth hole during the final round of the Bad Ragaz PGA Seniors Open. He also holed a three wood at the seventh hole at Adare Manor in 2004.
