Was a four handicapper by the age of 13 but didn’t consider becoming a professional golfer until he attended University to study Law and decided it was “too boring”, before turning his focus towards a career in golf. Played on the French Amateur International team before turning professional and playing three years on the Alps Tour, making the breakthrough to Challenge Tour after the 2007 season. Made steady progress on the Challenge Tour after finishing 109th in 2008, 48th in 2009 and 24th in 2010 before finally sealing a European Tour card by finishing 17th in the 2011 Rankings, thanks to runner-up finishes in the Abierto International Copa Antioquia and the ECCO Tour Championship presented by Thomas Björn and Mercedes Benz. A keen follower of tennis.
