Chick is a former member of the United States All Army Golf Team. He amassed an impressive array of State Open and PGA titles before joining the Seniors ranks. On the US Seniors Tour he once had a run of six consecutive birdies and on the European Seniors Tour he has twice finished second at the 1992 Turespaña Leman International and the Leman International Senior Trophy the following year. Chick's most lucrative year on the European Seniors Tour was in 1996 when he was 15th on the Order of Merit with £27,595. Played only three times in 2001.
