Captured the eighth card at the Qualifying School Final Stage, a vast improvement on the previous year when he failed to make it through the First Stage. Grew up in Florida and started playing golf when his friends did – despite not being a fan of the game it was the only way he could continue to spend time with them. Favoured baseball, American football and soccer when he was younger but quickly realised his potential in golf and earned a scholarship to the University of Central Florida. Qualified for five US Amateur Championships. In his spare time enjoys tinkering with high-end cars in his friend’s workshop.
