Four top ten finishes in 2011 helped him to 25th position. His best campaign was in 2009 when he finished runner-up to Bertus Smit in the Ryder Cup Wales Seniors Open in 2009 to en route to 13th position on the Order of Merit, after finishing 22nd in both of his first two campaigns. Pulled off the biggest win of his career when he defeated former European Tour player Emilio Rodriguez in a play-off to win the Qualifying School in Portugal at his first attempt in 2006. Led from round two and finished the 72 holes with a nine under par aggregate of 275, before edging out Rodriguez with a birdie at the second extra hole. It was also the first time playing in Europe for the Sydney club professional, whose prior tournament wins had been confined to Australia. Came close to victory in 2007, finishing third in both the Midas English Seniors Open and the OKI Castellón Open de España Senior. Is a keen joke teller, and performs a golf trick shot show, which have helped him attract a cult following on social networking website Facebook.
