The second of three Canadians to secure a card for the 2012 Senior Tour season at the Qualifying School in Portugal, following compatriot Rick Gibson. Carded a final round 68 to take the 11th card and becomes eligible upon turning 50 in April 2012. Played predominantly in Asia and Canada but spent three years in Austria. Employed the services of a sport psychologist and swing coach to ensure he was well prepared for the gruelling battle of Qualifying School and life on the Senior Tour.
