Represented Sweden in 1988 Eisenhower Trophy before turning pro. Still without a victory on European Tour, his best finish being tied for second behind Argentinian Vicente Fernandez in the 1992 Murphy's English Open at The Belfry. Returned to the main Tour in 1999 after taking eighth place on the Challenge Tour and finished in 111th position to retain his fully exempt rights for 2000.
