Started golf at the age of 14 thanks to the influence of his father. Also played a bit of football and handball, which is very popular in Sweden. The highlight of his professional career to date was winning the 2002 Swedish Match Play Championship on the Telia Tour. Third time lucky at the Qualifying School Finals when he graduated in 2002 after unsuccessful visits in 1996 and 2001. Has spent most of his career plying his trade on the Nordic League.
