Recorded his best Senior Tour finish of tied sixth in the Matrix Jersey Classic in 2010 but could not avoid a return to Qualifying School. Managed to secure a card again by finishing in ninth position, although was disappointed not to gain full playing rights after opening with rounds of 68 and 69 in Portugal. After years of barely playing golf, rediscovered the game and turned professional in 2007 at the age of 50, going on to play on the US Champions Tour. Played very little golf between the age of 25 and 45 due to work and family commitments which left him unable to play at the competitive level he enjoyed.
