Kenny slipped to 80th place on 2000 Seniors Tour Order of Merit but bounced back with an excellent ninth place finish at the subsequent Qualifying School in Spain. His best performance among the Seniors came in 1997 when he finished tied 21st in front of his home fans at the Senior British Open at Royal Portrush. Best performance during 2000 was a share of 34th place at the Coca-Cola Kaiser Karl tournament in Germany.
