Was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis after suffering from wrist pain as a youngster while playing field hockey.

Won the Dutch National Championship at girls’ level at the age of 17, and went on to gain a conditional card at the qualifying school for the Ladies European Tour.

She has since become a National Coach for The Netherlands, a role which she combines with playing opportunities.
